The purpose of the Intersection student ministries is the same as the mission & vision of our church,

with a special emphasis on ministering to students in fun environments specifically designed for 6th-12th grade students.

Our Mission – Making Disciples for the Transformation of the World

The Intersection desires to be a welcoming community for all students no matter where they are on their faith journey. Students will find a place to worship God, a community of students and adult leaders and a place to grow in faith. Through weekly group programs, confirmation, small groups, weekend retreats, music groups, service opportunities, mission trips and so much more, The Intersection strives to offer a pathway for students to

be transformed by God. It is our hope to equip your student and family to continue the journey together of becoming deeply committed Christians.

Over the next few week we will be exploring the fact that the Bible tells its story in four stages: Oneness With God, Sin and Separation,

Consequences and Crying Out, and God Hears and Restores. These four stages are repeated over and over throughout the Bible.

You can see the stages in the lives of King David, the nation of Israel, the disciples, Paul, and even in our own lives.

If we learn to look for these stages as we read the Bible, it will begin to make more sense and feel smaller.

ABOUT OUR CHURCH

At Cape Coral First we have discerned that our purpose is ‘To Make Disciples of Jesus for the Transformation of the World.’ To do that our Church Council, along with other church leaders, came together to put in place a vision plan for the next five years. This plan seeks to build from our strengths: worship, leadership, and small/study groups. It also seeks to transform our facilities so they are better equipped as venues for ministry as well as add new ways for our church to reach out into the community.
